Job Description

Key Objective

To enable data-driven business decisions through strong business understanding of the merchant, lending, and payments ecosystem, and by delivering actionable insights that impact growth, conversions, risk, and operational efficiency across merchants, regions, and sales channels.

Key Responsibilities (includes but not limited to)

Partner closely with Sales and Business teams to support decision-making through data-driven insights.

Track and report business KPIs such as merchant volumes, activation rates, transaction attempts, conversion rates, lender mix, and revenue contribution.

Analyze merchant and channel performance across regions, branches, and sales teams, including activation, utilization, retention, and drop-off trends.

Identify underperforming regions, branches, merchants, or channels and recommend corrective actions based on data.

Own recurring business reports (daily / weekly / monthly) used by sales and leadership teams, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Build automated reports and lightweight systems to reduce manual reporting over time with data engineering team.

Create focused dashboards and scorecards for sales, merchant and lender performance monitoring.

Support business reviews, target tracking, and incentive planning with structured analysis and insights.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in a data analyst or business analyst role, preferably supporting sales or business teams.

Willingness to handle hands-on execution, including manual reporting, while improving systems through automation.

Strong commercial and business orientation ability to interpret data in the context of growth, productivity, revenue, and efficiency.

Clear communication skills for presenting insights to business and sales stakeholders.

Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of Python for data analysis and basic automation.

Experience working with BI tools such as Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.

Experience in fintech, payments, lending, or B2B marketplace businesses is a plus.
