Business Analyst

Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a Business Analyst with a strong background in E-commerce and hands-on experience in functional testing to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with product owners, developers, and QA teams to define, document, validate, and test business requirements for new features, enhancements, and system integrations across our e-commerce platform. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and business users to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements Translate business needs into clear and concise Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) , User Stories , and Acceptance Criteria Analyze existing processes and propose improvements aligned with business goals and user experience best practices Assist in creating wireframes, process flows, and data mappings for new features Work with QA teams to design test cases , define test data , and ensure comprehensive test coverage Participate in functional testing , UAT (User Acceptance Testing) , and regression testing to validate system changes Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and requirement alignment Support issue analysis and root cause identification during post-deployment validation Provide regular updates, reports, and documentation for stakeholders Required Skills & Qualifications 48 years of experience as a Business Analyst , preferably in the e-commerce or retail domain Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms , business flows (product, cart, checkout, order, payment, returns, etc.) Hands-on experience with manual testing , creating test scenarios and test cases Proficiency in using tools like JIRA , Confluence , TestRail , or equivalent Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies Excellent documentation and presentation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Good communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Skills Familiarity with SQL for data validation Experience with A/B testing , performance testing, or automation (basic level) Exposure to tools like Postman for API testing or eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud
