Bsc staff nurse

• JOB DISCRIPTION

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated B.Sc Nurse to join our Inpatient Department (IPD). The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with the medical team, and ensure the smooth operation of the inpatient ward. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, good communication skills, and a patient-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide bedside nursing care to inpatients according to standard protocols.
• Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress.
• Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed.
• Assist doctors during ward rounds and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and medication use.
• Ensure infection control practices are strictly followed.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and support staff for patient hygiene and ward cleanliness.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in code blue or crash team activities.
• Report any unusual patient behavior or clinical condition to the physician.

Required Skills:

• Strong clinical and patient care skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Proficiency in using hospital information systems (HIS)
• Basic life support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred)
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety protocols
• Team player with attention to detail and a caring attitude

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing) – Mandatory
• Registered Nurse with valid Nursing Council License

Experience:

• 1-2 years of clinical experience in an Inpatient / Ward / IPD setting preferred
• Freshers with clinical internship experience in hospitals may also apply
