Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain complex data pipelines using ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter or IBM InfoSphere DataStage. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions for data warehousing projects on Microsoft Azure platform. Develop high-quality code in Python programming language to automate tasks and improve efficiency in the development process. Troubleshoot issues related to data quality, performance, and scalability of the developed systems. Job Requirements : 5-10 years of experience in Business Systems Analysis with expertise in Cobol programming language. Strong understanding of ETL (Extract Transform Load) concepts and experience working with various ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter or IBM InfoSphere DataStage. Proficiency in Python programming language with knowledge of its application in automating tasks. Experience working on Microsoft Azure platform for building data warehouses. Ability to document source to target data mappings and data lineage. Must also have some development skills and able to read code. Ability to read Cobol and Python code would be an asset. Effective Communication, Stakeholder Management, Backlog Management. Documentation, Data warehouse in general, Databases - Oracle/SQL server , Any ETL tool, Microsoft Azure data services Helpful to have - Python, Azure Data bricks , SQL server
