Broadband Technician

As a Broadband Technician at Three Star Broadband, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing broadband network systems such as Cable Television, Cables, and Broadband connections. Your responsibilities will include: - Installing, maintaining, and repairing broadband network systems - Handling troubleshooting and diagnostics to ensure systems are functional and efficient - Providing exceptional customer service by effectively addressing customer issues and providing solutions - Performing installations and disconnections of high-speed internet and cable lines - Running diagnostic tests on equipment - Troubleshooting network issues - Checking and recording signal levels - Providing technical support or guidance to customers - Completing service documentation Qualifications required for this role include: - Knowledge of Cable Television, Cables, and Broadband systems - Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostics - Strong customer service skills - Basic understanding of networking and telecommunications - Physical capability to work with cables and equipment - Good communication and problem-solving skills - Relevant certifications or technical training in broadband technology is a plus - Ability to work independently and efficiently in an on-site setting - Experience with wireless networking or cable installation is a plus - Familiarity with basic hand and power tools - Valid driver's license and a reliable form of transportation - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. - Knowledge of using OTDR Join Three Star Broadband to be part of a team dedicated to providing affordable, high-speed, and reliable internet access to empower individuals and businesses in our service areas.,
