Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining Castrol India as a Branded Workshop & Project Manager in Bangalore. Your main responsibility will be to set up a network of premium car workshops under the brand name Castrol Auto Service. Your role is crucial in achieving Castrol's vision of pivoting into a Service & Maintenance brand. You will play a key part in expanding the workshop network rapidly over the next few years. Key Responsibilities: - Develop service capability and approach to enhance customer experience by creating a standardized and differentiated consumer experience in the workshop network - Deploy strategies to improve consumer experience such as standard operating procedures, audits, and certifications - Lead special projects to drive consumer footfalls into the workshop network by establishing strategic tie-ups with B2B marketplaces, spare part manufacturers, insurance companies, OEMs, etc. - Develop a detailed plan for acquiring and developing a customer base of Branded Workshops in the assigned territories - Concept selling of Castrol's Branded Workshop offer to prospects and assisting them in understanding the program and channel offer in detail - Complete quality deployment of channel offer including SOP training, audits, branding, activations, etc. - Achieve month-wise secondary sales objectives for the entire product range across customers - Develop positive relationships with key customers and ensure quality service through distributors/SEs - Help collate information for developing appropriate territory strategy and ensure efficient coverage of outlets Qualifications Required: - Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering/Technology, with a major in sales & marketing related fields - 8+ years of sales & marketing experience in the B2B space - Preference for experience in service business of key OEMs and sales/business development with multi-brand automotive aftermarket players - Sound commercial knowledge on contracts and experience in long-term contract negotiation - Excellent selling skills, knowledge of auto technology, and automotive aftermarket - Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills - Positive attitude, proactive approach, and willingness to learn and work with teams - Customer-centric approach and ability to handle uncertainty and ambiguity Additional Company Details: Castrol India, a subsidiary of the bp Group, is a prominent player in the global lubricant industry.
