As a Direct Channel Business Manager at our company, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Direct Channel business for the assigned branch. Your role will involve achieving sales targets, maintaining quality business, and developing a high-performing team of Relationship Managers/Sales personnel. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Sales Leadership:** Drive the branch to consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets for life insurance products sourced through the Direct Channel. - **Team Management:** Recruit, train, coach, and mentor a team of Relationship Managers/Direct Sales personnel. - **Performance & Retention:** Conduct regular performance reviews, provide on-the-field support, and focus on talent retention and team engagement. - **Business Quality:** Ensure adherence to underwriting norms, maintain high persistency (renewal rates), and focus on sourcing high-quality, profitable business. - **Compliance:** Ensure 100% adherence to all company processes, sales practices, and regulatory guidelines (IRDAI) to maintain a clean business record. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business. - 5+ years of experience in Life Insurance and a minimum of 1 year of experience in team handling. - Channel Experience: Prior experience in the Direct Sales Channel of a life insurance company is highly valued.
