Bookkeeper (UK)

We are looking for a skilled UK Senior Bookkeeper with 2 to 8 years of experience to manage the accuracy and timely processing of quarterly VAT Returns of UK clients. This position is based in Gurgaon, Noida, Alwar, Baroda, and Jaipur. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Manage the accuracy and timely processing of quarterly VAT Returns of UK clients.
• Create and maintain records of total sales and VAT collected, as well as purchases and VAT paid.
• Record and maintain sales, payrolls, and revenues of business clients.
• Prepare VAT reports of UK companies quarterly and communicate with clients to file them in a timely manner.
• Maintain general ledger accounts by creating journal entries, reconciling accounts receivable, preparing monthly accruals, and analyzing and reconciling accounts payable ledgers.
• Adhere to financial procedures and finalize accounts as per statutory requirements and financial and operational controls to improve the P&L scenario.
• Perform categorization and execute reconciliations of bank transactions on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Prepare invoices and raise bills monthly, and write emails for month-end queries and resolve them through email.
• Facilitate payroll coordination, month-end close works, financial reporting, and general ledger management accounts payable/receivable processing while meeting daily team quality requirements.
• Review day-to-day processing of Accounts Payable & Receivable Transactions to ensure organizational finances are maintained in an effective, up-to-date, and accurate manner.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com).
• Strong knowledge of UK taxation laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with UK Shift timings.
