BOM Engineer

As a skilled Powertrain Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our dynamic engineering team, utilizing your strong proficiency in PTC Creo Parametric to design cutting-edge automotive powertrain systems. Your responsibilities will include designing powertrain systems and components, creating detailed manufacturing drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring designs from concept to production. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize PTC Creo and other 3D CAD tools to design powertrain systems and components. - Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings and participate in design review processes. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. - Resolve design constraints and establish effective interfaces across structural, electrical, and thermal aspects. - Collaborate with simulation, testing, sourcing, and manufacturing teams. - Support Bill of Materials (BOM) generation and documentation. - Conduct Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and perform tolerance stack-up analysis. - Provide valuable input throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch. Required Skills: - Mandatory hands-on experience with PTC Creo Parametric. - Strong knowledge of powertrain systems design and manufacturing processes. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Fluent in spoken and written English. - Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Education: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. Experience: - Minimum of 4 years of experience in automotive engineering.
