Body Shop Advisor / Service Advisor

• Customer Interaction: Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and provide a positive and professional experience.
• Damage Assessment: Inspect vehicles to identify damage and document customer concerns for repair estimates.
• Repair Planning: Create detailed repair plans, including accurate cost and time estimates, and explain them to customers.
• Coordination: Work with technicians to ensure repairs are done correctly and on time, and coordinate with parts staff.
• Communication: Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle, including any changes to the schedule or costs.
• Insurance and Billing: Manage insurance claims, communicate with insurance adjusters, and handle billing and other administrative tasks.
• Quality Control: Ensure the quality of the repairs meets the required standards and customer satisfaction is achieved before the vehicle is returned.

Required skills and qualifications :

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and "WOW" service skills.
• Knowledge of auto body repair processes, parts, and common issues.
• Familiarity with insurance claim procedures.
• Proficiency in using estimating software and other shop management systems.
• Ability to work with basic math and financial calculations for estimates.
