Duties

Operations

• Responsible for the operational readiness of the vessel at any time.
• Sailing operations are to be initiated only on orders received from the immediate superior
• Safety is a priority : Safe operations to be ensured at all times
• Responsible for the safety of guests and crew onboard.
• Guest management during the trip.
• Execute safe navigational passage while sailing
• Be prepared to handle emergency situations.

Crew Management

• Carry out overall supervision of all crew members,
• Ensure daily tasking of the crew for cleanliness and maintenance of all vessels.
• Training crew in all aspects of vessel operations including safety, seamanship skills, guest management etc.

Maintenance

• Responsible for the safety, security and material efficiencies of the vessel.
• Ensure proper maintenance of life-saving / fire fighting / first aid equipment.
• Maintain vessel's navigational instruments and equipment.
• Report in consultation with the Engine driver for any repair and maintenance of the vessel and its equipment or machinery.
• Immediate update - communication of incident / accident at jetty and at sea to reporting officer and other concerned personnel.

Inventory & Record Keeping

• Maintain daily log books/events of the vessel
• Ensure proper stocking & record of fuel usage, Daily fuel log book to be updated
• Should muster all inventory items,spares, and equipment under charge every week
• Ensure proper storage of Fuel and other boat equipment while on jetty
• Any other task assigned to him for smooth running of operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
