Blood Bank Technician

Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Blood Bank Technician to join our medical team at Craft Hospital Kodungallur Kerala. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in blood collection, processing, storage, and transfusion services, with a strong commitment to quality and patient safety.

Requirements:

• B.Sc MLT or Diploma as qualification.
• Experience in blood bank is mandatory.
• Attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collection, grouping, cross-matching, and component separation.
• Ensure proper labelling, storage, and inventory management of blood and components.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor and ensure strict compliance with safety, hygiene, and infection control standards.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and external blood donors/organizations when required.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and quality control processes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
