Blockchain Engineer

As a Blockchain Engineer at Wifi Dabba, you will play a crucial role in transforming requirements into on-chain logic. Your expertise in Solana/Algorand protocol and other cryptocurrency technologies will be instrumental in bringing mechanics such as Distributed infrastructure ownership, DAOs, Gamification through smart contracts, Staking, and more to life. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing R&D on token utility requirements delivered from your project manager - Thoroughly testing the application - Keeping up-to-date with current crypto trends and technologies - Writing on-chain programs to facilitate token logic Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science - Experience in architecting, developing, and testing Web3 apps end-to-end - Understanding of algorithms, data structures, databases, and large-scale websites - Deep understanding of the blockchain and cryptocurrency space and smart contract systems - Experience in Solana or Algorand smart-contract development or willingness to learn - Ability to write clean, concise, and sustainable code - Team player who enjoys collaborative efforts If you are interested in joining our team, please send your resume and any additional information (live projects, portfolio, GitHub) to founders(at)wifidabba.com along with a note about your interests and aspirations. The interview process consists of three rounds: 1. 45-minute video call with an engineering team member to discuss the opportunity and assess mutual interest and compatibility. 2. In-person interview at our Bangalore office, involving a 3-4 hour session where you will work on a small software engineering problem statement to showcase your programming analytical and logical skills. You may also be asked to walk through recent project code. 3. 30-60 minute call or in-person meeting with founder(s) to jointly define your career roadmap at Wifi Dabba.
