Blending & Movement Automation

Role Overview: You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of blending and movement operations of Honeywell's process solutions. Leveraging your extensive experience in process control, automation, and optimization, you will ensure efficient, safe, and reliable material handling and blending processes to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Installation, Configuration & Implementation of Refinery Offsite Automation Solutions- Blending and Movement (HBM) suite including Blend Controller, Blend Optimizer, Inventory Monitoring, Movement Automation, LIMSViwer, etc. - Conduct Factory & Site Acceptance Tests for automation systems and manage customer expectations. - Interact with customers for Scope change, schedule tracking, and technical clarifications. - Train customers on Honeywell products and coordinate with support/developers for customized solutions. - Perform Honeywell Blending & Movements latest release scenario testing as defined by the customer. - Develop standard operating and testing documents and allocate resources for projects. - Coach the team, conduct Site Surveys, and design solutions for Offsite Automation Projects. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field. - Experience: 10-12 years of experience in Honeywell's blending and movement operations within the oil and gas industry, with a strong understanding of refinery processes, tank farms, and terminals. Additional Details (if applicable): - Industry: Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical Technical Skills: - Proficiency in Honeywell's Blending and Movement software suite (Blend Controller, Blend Optimizer, Movement Control). - Knowledge of process control principles, instrumentation, and automation systems. - Experience with Process Automation systems such as DCS (Honeywell EPKS), SCADA, and SQL Database. - Understanding of blending technologies and equipment. - Familiarity with Honeywell Provisional updated, installation & Testing. - Knowledge of material handling systems, tank farm operations, and terminal operations. Problem Solving and Improvement: - Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to blending and movement processes by reviewing scripts, logs, and database aspects associated with the product. - Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and reliability. Soft Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Training & Mentoring: - Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff on Blending and Movement processes and technologies. - Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and knowledge.,
