Role Overview: You will be a BITS Intern at Investment Bank in Mumbai, India, part of the Financial Resource Management team within the Chief Financial Officer Strategy and Planning division. Investment Bank is a global leader in capital markets and advisory services, specializing in the Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC) division. Your responsibilities will include strategic analysis and planning of financial resources to provide insights, forecasts, and regulatory support for decision-making across the Investment Bank. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare monthly reports and forecasts for Risk Weighted Assets, leverage exposure, and daily secured credit. - Conduct financial analysis with business commentary and delve into key metrics. - Develop materials for the Investment Bank Asset and Liability Committee, highlighting issues and proposing mitigation strategies. - Support capital allocation through the Financial Resource Optimisation Group and manage financial limits. - Lead the implementation of strategic planning initiatives. - Contribute to countermeasure and recovery planning through data analysis and business engagement. - Perform ad-hoc return analysis and portfolio reviews. - Monitor risk-specific parameters and conduct targeted analysis as needed. - Promote innovation and continuous process improvement. Qualifications Required: - 1-3 years of relevant experience in Reporting. - Strong Accounting skills. - Good understanding of SAP System architecture. - Strong PC skills including Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint. - Understanding of IFRS.
