BIM Trainer – QS & QA/QC

Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and technically strong BIM Trainer (Building Information Modeling) specializing in Quantity Surveying (QS) and QA/QC to deliver effective training sessions for students and professionals. The trainer will conduct both theoretical and practical sessions, develop learning content, and ensure learners gain real-time, industry-relevant BIM knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct engaging classroom and hands-on training sessions on BIM applications related to QS and QA/QC.

· Train students on Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and other related BIM tools.

· Prepare and update lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and project-based exercises.

· Guide students on quantity take-off, cost estimation, QA/QC documentation, and BIM workflow implementation.

· Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and support academic excellence.

· Keep updated with the latest BIM technologies, tools, and industry trends.

· Coordinate with the academic and placement departments to align training outcomes with job requirements.

· Maintain attendance, progress records, and training documentation.

Required Skills & Competencies

· Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.

· Strong understanding of BIM workflows, LOD (Level of Development), clash detection, cost estimation, and QA/QC processes.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills.

· Ability to teach effectively and simplify complex technical concepts.

· Good interpersonal, mentoring, and analytical abilities.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Architecture.

· Certification in BIM / Revit / Navisworks preferred.

· Minimum 1 year of teaching experience preferred.

· Freshers with strong BIM knowledge and good communication skills are also welcome.

Preferred Attributes

· Ernakulam-based candidates preferred.

· Should be able to teach confidently and handle both individual and group sessions.

· Immediate joiners will be given priority.
