Bim Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented Candidate to join our team as BIM Engineers. As a BIM Engineer, you will be involved in modelling, coordination, and clash detection to support the successful execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain BIM models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, structural elements, and architectural designs.

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure models are accurately updated and coordinated.

• Utilize BIM tools such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant software.

• Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues using software like Navisworks or Revizto.

• Support project teams with model-based problem-solving and decision-making.

• Coordinate with General contractors, and subcontractors for seamless project execution.

• Generate detailed shop drawings, as-builts, and fabrication drawings.

• Research and develop solutions to MEP problems and conflicts through timely and accurate interpretation of contract documents.

• Coordinate MEP drawings to ensure all systems work within space constraints and code and keep current and accurate drawings and construction changes to ensure that accurate as built documents are provided by our company and our subcontractors to our clients.

• Ability to perform various Quality Checks on the Models to validate models for things like:

o Model completeness

o Alignment on the basis of design model and design documents

o Model Check: No duplication of data, no errors and omissions, continuity of systems between the different points of connection.
