Bim Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Convert 2D CAD drawings (Architectural, Structural, MEP) into accurate 3D BIM models using Revit or similar platforms.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure BIM deliverables align with design intent and

project requirements.

• Perform model quality checks, clash detection, and data validation.
• Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project-specific modeling standards.
• Manage and maintain BIM models throughout project lifecycles from design development to construction documentation.
• Train and mentor junior BIM engineers and drafters on CAD-to-BIM best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to define BIM deliverables and timelines.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to BIM processes and practices across all projects.
• Review and validate model data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

Required Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: Bachelors (or advanced) Degree in Engineering or Architecture or Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 4+ years of experience in BIM
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of BIM codes, standards, and best practices.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex technical concepts in an accessible manner.
