BIM Engineer - Fire Life Safety

Role Overview: As a BIM Engineer for Fire and Life Safety at WSP - Middle East (ME), your responsibility will be to deliver discipline projects with a hands-on approach. You will provide high-quality BIM design, coordination, and integration to ensure compliance with contract requirements and project deliverables. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality technical design drawings while developing the BIM technical capabilities of the team. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality information, data, and models to the Appointing Party in compliance with contract requirements. - Liaise closely with the project team, act as the point of contact, and follow project BEP in line with organizational standards. - Implement and administer Building Information Management (BIM) systems, maintain collaboration with Disciplines BIM Leads, and support best practices implementation. - Configure, maintain, and administer the project CDE (Common Data Environment) for effective management of deliverables. - Implement open BIM standards such as IFC or building SMART, and international standards such as BS EN ISO 19650 or PAS1192 series. - Integrate leading-edge BIM applications including Scheduling, Cost, Asset Management, and O&M programs into the BIM models. Additional Company Details: - Act as the BIM engineer for fire and life safety, ensuring high standards are met. - Develop REVIT family and automated solutions, ensure regulatory compliance, and advise on project timelines. - Participate in internal multi-discipline knowledge sharing initiatives. Qualifications: - Degree in Engineering or Architecture. - Experience with MS Office Suite and technical design software. - Relevant qualifications and industry experience in BIM tools.,
