Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manage end-to-end billing operations (IPD, OPD, Emergency)
Supervise billing team and ensure accuracy in bills and documentation
Handle insurance, TPA, CGHS, Ayushman & corporate billing processes
Ensure timely submission of claims and follow-ups for settlements
Coordinate with doctors, nursing, front office & insurance desk
Monitor daily revenue, pending bills, and ageing reports
Handle billing audits, internal & external
Ensure compliance with NABH, statutory & hospital policies
Resolve billing-related patient and insurance queries
Implement process improvements to reduce revenue leakage
Prepare MIS reports and monthly billing summaries

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate/Postgraduate (Management preferred)
5+ years of hospital billing experience
, including team handling
Strong knowledge of IPD/OPD billing, packages, and insurance norms
Experience with hospital billing software / HIS
Good command over MS Excel & MIS reporting
Strong leadership, communication & problem-solving skills
