Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end billing operations (IPD, OPD, Emergency)
  • Supervise billing team and ensure accuracy in bills and documentation
  • Handle insurance, TPA, CGHS, Ayushman & corporate billing processes
  • Ensure timely submission of claims and follow-ups for settlements
  • Coordinate with doctors, nursing, front office & insurance desk
  • Monitor daily revenue, pending bills, and ageing reports
  • Handle billing audits, internal & external
  • Ensure compliance with NABH, statutory & hospital policies
  • Resolve billing-related patient and insurance queries
  • Implement process improvements to reduce revenue leakage
  • Prepare MIS reports and monthly billing summaries

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate/Postgraduate (Management preferred)
  • 5+ years of hospital billing experience

    , including team handling
  • Strong knowledge of IPD/OPD billing, packages, and insurance norms
  • Experience with hospital billing software / HIS
  • Good command over MS Excel & MIS reporting
  • Strong leadership, communication & problem-solving skills
