Billing Executive

You will be responsible for handling billing activities as a Billing Executive at our Siliguri location. With a minimum of 3 years of experience in billing, your primary responsibilities will include preparing and processing invoices accurately based on sales/purchase orders or service delivery. You must ensure that the invoices comply with company policies and client agreements. Additionally, you will be tasked with reconciling billing records with accounting and bank statements. Effective communication with clients to address any billing discrepancies or disputes is a crucial aspect of this role. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating billing records, ledgers, and databases, ensuring accurate documentation for audits and financial reporting purposes. Collaborating with internal teams such as sales, finance, and customer service departments is essential to resolve any discrepancies between services provided and invoices raised. In addition to the primary responsibilities, you will be required to generate billing reports and summaries for management, ensure compliance with tax laws (GST, VAT, etc.), and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes. Handling confidential information with integrity and discretion is paramount in this role. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or a related field. Attention to detail, high accuracy, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in billing/accounting software (e.g., Tally, Excel & Google Sheet), strong time management, organizational abilities, and a basic understanding of accounting principles are essential requirements.
