Job Summary:

Billing Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Generate accurate inpatient and outpatient bills in accordance with hospital policies.
Verify patient insurance details and coordinate with TPA (Third-Party Administrators).
Ensure proper documentation for billing, including medical records, investigations, and doctors notes.
Process and submit insurance claims within stipulated timelines.
Follow up on pending or denied insurance claims and take corrective action.
Handle cash, card, and digital payment transactions.
Resolve patient billing inquiries and disputes in a professional manner.
Maintain daily and monthly billing reports and records.
Coordinate with departments like admissions, nursing, and pharmacy to ensure billing accuracy.
Comply with all healthcare regulations and hospital guidelines.

Required Skills:

34 years of hands-on experience in hospital billing operations.
Good understanding of healthcare billing, insurance processes, and TPA procedures.
Familiarity with hospital management software (e.g., HIS, Meditech, or similar).
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
