Billing Executive

Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Billing Executive to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have between 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in billing, invoicing, and accounting. This is a full-time role that requires expertise in Microsoft Excel, including proficiency in V Lookups. The position demands a meticulous eye for detail and excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven work experience as a Billing Executive or in a similar role for 2 to 4 years.
• Proficiency in invoicing and billing processes (Mandatory skill).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including V Lookups (Mandatory skill).
• Experience with various billing software and financial reporting tools.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Strong customer service skills, including handling inquiries and resolving disputes.
• Excellent financial reporting skills to track and manage billing data.
• Capability to follow up on payments and manage accounts receivables efficiently.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Generate accurate and timely invoices and ensure all billing data is entered correctly.
• Maintain up-to-date billing records and prepare detailed financial reports.
• Perform V Look ups and other Excel functions to streamline billing processes.
• Handle customer inquiries and discrepancies related to billing and invoicing.
• Engage in regular follow-up on outstanding payments and manage collections efficiently.
• Collaborate with the accounts department to reconcile billing data and financial records.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Proactively identify and resolve any billing issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,086.00 - ₹20,921.68 per month
