Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Billing Executive CFS

ONLY MALE CANDIDATES WOULD BE CONSIDERED.

Preferred candidate profile

Prepare customer bills accurately as per CFS tariff, contracts, and service details.
Verify and validate service entries (LOLO, storage, transportation, handling, etc.) before bill generation.
Perform commercial checking of job sheets, gate entries, and system reports to ensure accuracy.
Coordinate with operations and documentation teams to confirm chargeable activities.
Maintain daily billing registers and track invoices till submission and acknowledgment from customers.
Ensure timely and accurate posting of billing data into ERP / accounting systems.
Support Accounts team for reconciliation of billed vs. received payments and address billing discrepancies.
Assist in rate revision updates and communicate changes to relevant departments.
Generate MIS reports on daily and monthly billing summaries for management.
Maintain proper filing of bills, approvals, and commercial documents for audit readiness.
Support audit and internal control activities related to billing and revenue recognition.
Work in shifts(Either 1st or 2nd) as per operational requirement to ensure timely completion of billing activities.
