Billing Engineer

Billing Engineer Location: Jaipur Experience: 2-3 years Department: Construction Job Type: Full Time Job Summary: - The Billing Engineer will be responsible for preparing, submitting, and managing all project billing and invoicing processes in construction projects. This includes verifying quantities, coordinating with site engineers, contractors, and clients, and ensuring accurate and timely generation of bills in accordance with contract terms and project timelines. Key Responsibilities: Qualifications: Preferred Skills: Prepare and submit interim and final bills to clients as per contract conditions. Verify the quantity of work executed on-site in coordination with site engineers. Check subcontractor/vendor bills, and ensure alignment with project work orders and terms. Maintain records of all billing activities, including measurements, material reconciliations, and financial summaries. Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to resolve any billing-related queries or disputes. Prepare RA (Running Account) Bills and final bills with necessary supporting documents. Coordinate with procurement and accounts teams for invoice processing and payment follow-ups. Monitor project progress against billing schedules and update projections accordingly. Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations (GST/TDS), and contractual requirements. Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. 2 5 years of experience in billing and estimation within the construction industry. Strong understanding of construction drawings, contracts, and billing processes. Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Tally, or similar). Knowledge of construction contracts (Lump Sum, Item Rate, etc.). Experience with BOQ (Bill of Quantities) preparation and cost estimation.
