Billing & Collection Specialist

As an ideal candidate for the Billing and Collections role at Jio Haptik, you will play a crucial role in managing billing systems and financial operations efficiently. Your responsibilities will include: - **Email Etiquettes:** Maintaining professional and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and strong relationships. - **Building Reports:** Creating, maintaining, and presenting comprehensive billing and collection reports with accuracy and consistency. - **Excel Proficiency:** Utilizing advanced Excel functions to manage financial data, conduct detailed analysis, and generate actionable insights for better decision-making. - **Contract Interpretation:** Demonstrating a deep understanding of client contracts to ensure accurate billing, compliance with terms, and efficient invoicing processes. - **GST & Tax Knowledge (India-specific):** Applying Indian GST and tax regulations effectively to ensure invoicing and collections are fully compliant. - **Collections and Billing Knowledge:** Overseeing the complete billing and collections process from transactions. - **Collaboration and Communication:** Collaborating with internal teams and effectively communicating with clients to resolve any billing-related concerns or discrepancies. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum of 1+ year of experience in billing & collections roles. - Strong communication skills for professional, clear, and timely email interactions with clients and internal teams. - Ability to create accurate and organized billing and collection reports for analysis and decision-making. - Advanced knowledge of Excel for managing financial data, performing calculations, and creating reports. - Understanding of Indian GST and tax regulations for accurate invoicing and compliance. - Comprehensive understanding of the billing and collections process, from invoicing to follow-ups. - Experience with Zoho or similar CRM/billing systems is an advantage.
