Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Write and execute queries GCP Big query and execute along with analysis in
ETL and DB testing, Data migration, Report validations
Expert in writing/understanding complex SQL queries
Building high test strategy to match design specifications , standards, and user requirements and testing components in an iterative manner through an Agile process.
Design and execute test cases in a Big Data environment

Preferred candidate profile

Must-Have

Hands-on experience in ETL and DB testing, Data migration, Report validations
GCP Big Query knowledge
Pyspark /Python experience
Expert in writing/understanding complex SQL queries
Advanced knowledge if Bigdata concepts and technologies (Hive, Impala, Pentaho, HBase, Hadoop etc.)
Exposure to the Property and Auto insurance business domain, Knowledge on Guidewire
Should have worked on Agile projects.
In-depth understanding of database management systems and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
Expert SQL development skills • Experience with NoSQL Systems

Good-to-Have

• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.

• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

• 1+ years of software / application design and development experience in a true Agile / Scrum / XP environment with proven skill and effectiveness in the use of Agile SDLC methodologies

• Good communication skills
