Key Responsibilities

• Data Modeling & Solution Development:

  Possess expert data modeling skills, including conceptual, logical, and physical model design. Participate actively in the development of Business Intelligence solutions to meet the needs of various Commercial Organizations.

• Requirements Evaluation & Data Quality:

  Evaluate complex business requirements, conduct Proofs of Concept (POCs), and proactively identify and flag data anomalies within source systems. Perform end-to-end data validation for solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data.

• SQL Development & Performance Tuning:

  Develop and performance-tune complex SQL (PL/SQL and/or T-SQL) queries and stored procedures.

• Automation & Scripting:

  Able to manage batch processes using any scripting language like Perl, Unix, or Python.

• Strategic Design & Communication:

  Create strategic designs and mappings of business requirements to system/technical requirements. Effectively communicate, translate, and simplify complex business requirements to ensure buy-in from all stakeholders.

• Project Management & Collaboration:

  Be well-versed with project tracking tools like Jira and Github. Work on ad-hoc requests and manage simultaneous projects or tasks effectively.

Requirements

• Database Development:

  7-10 years of experience with Database Development using Packages/Stored Procedures/Triggers in SQL and PLSQL.

• Dimensional Modeling:

  7-10 years of experience in Dimensional Modeling, Star and Snowflake Schemas design, and maintaining dimensions using Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD).

• SQL Performance Tuning:

  7+ years of experience in SQL performance tuning and optimization techniques.

• Source Systems (Plus):

  Experience with source systems like Salesforce (SOQL), NetSuite, or any other CRM is a plus.

• Soft Skills:

  Effective and positive communication and Team working skills.

• Work Ethic:

  Ability to work on ad-hoc requests and simultaneously on multiple projects or tasks. Result-oriented, self-starter, and self-motivated, capable of managing multiple time-sensitive assignments.
