About the Role:

Shovona Hospitality & Restaurant LLP is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Authentic Bengali Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of traditional Bengali cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques, ensuring that every dish reflects the rich flavors and heritage of Bengal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook authentic Bengali dishes, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian items.
• Ensure traditional taste, texture, and presentation are maintained across all dishes.
• Manage kitchen operations efficiently, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Plan daily menus and coordinate with the purchase team for fresh and quality ingredients.
• Monitor portion and waste control to maintain food cost efficiency.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, portion size, and presentation.
• Supervise kitchen helpers and assist in training junior staff when required.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards strictly.

Requirements:

• Proven experience of 7–10 years in preparing authentic Bengali cuisine in reputed restaurants or hotels.
• Strong knowledge of Bengali spices, seafood preparation, and regional specialties.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders efficiently.
• Excellent understanding of hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety practices.
• Team player with good communication and time-management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
