Job Description

As a Benefits Administrator III at UKG, you will play a crucial role in providing operational support for the entire employee benefits life cycle. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Reviewing and processing open enrollment activities such as file deliveries and census files - Demonstrating working knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) requirements - Troubleshooting EDI connections and file delivery issues - Researching and resolving system errors, and drafting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) - Interpreting Benefits Plan Documents for EDI and open enrollment processes - Completing customer data audits based on pre-defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - Specializing in certain tasks and tracking time spent on activities - Identifying process improvement opportunities and suggesting updates in SOPs - Working in US shifts and having a strong understanding of US Benefits-related teams Qualifications required for this role: - 3+ years of work experience in US Benefits-related teams - Understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes - Knowledge of employee life-cycle U.S. Benefits Administration, ACA, ERISA guidelines, and HIPAA Compliance - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Commerce, Computer Science, or related field Preferred Qualifications/Skills: - Exposure to Open Enrollment activities - Working knowledge of EDI configurations - Strong background in customer-facing deliveries - Industry-level benefits certification will be a plus In addition to technical skills, interpersonal skills are also vital for success in this role.
