Behavioral Therapist

As an Applied Behaviour Analyst (ABA) Therapist at Listening Ears in Jasola, New Delhi, you will be working with a leading early intervention and therapy center that is a proud partner of Special Olympics Bharat. Your role will involve working with children with diverse needs, focusing on quality care and inclusive development. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct sessions using a blended approach with ABA principles such as discrete-trial, natural environment teaching, task analysis, shaping, and chaining. - Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and skill-acquisition programs. - Assist with Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) including observation, ABC analysis, and preference assessments. - Utilize standardized tools as applicable for assessments. - Plan and prepare materials, create visual supports, token systems, and reinforcement schedules. - Teach a range of skills including communication, social, play, self-help/ADLs, pre-academics, and community readiness skills. - Implement proactive and least-restrictive strategies for behavior reduction and follow crisis-prevention protocols. - Provide parent/caregiver training with documented goals, including modeling, home-plan development, and generalization targets. - Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and special education professionals to align goals and ensure a coordinated plan of care. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 2 years of experience, with a focus on pediatrics. - Trained under a licensed BACB therapist or BACB trained/licensed. - Hands-on experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Global Developmental Delay (GDD), Cerebral Palsy (CP), Down Syndrome, Sensory Processing Disorders, and Neurodevelopmental Delays.
