About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Business Development Manager(B2B Sales) to drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition, accountmanagement, and solution-based selling.This role involves managing the full sales cycle—from lead generation, productpresentations, solution pitching, pricing discussions, relationship building, and closingdeals—across enterprise and mid-market clients.The ideal candidate should have experience in IT Software/Hardware/Cloud/Infra/SolutionSales, with strong communication skills and a consultative approach.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development: Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities in assigned territory. Sell Software Licensing (Microsoft, Oracle, Antivirus, etc.), IT Products, CloudServices, and Enterprise IT solutions. Conduct requirement analysis to recommend the right solutions to customers. Create and maintain a healthy sales funnel with consistent follow-ups andclosures. Achieve monthly, quarterly & annual revenue targets.
2. Client Engagement & Demonstrations: Conduct product presentations, solution demonstrations, and capabilitymeetings with corporate clients. Manage negotiations, pricing discussions, and contracting independently. Build strong relationships with CXOs, IT Heads, Purchase Departments, and keydecision-makers.
3. Account Management: Grow business from existing accounts through cross-sell and up-sellopportunities. Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with pre-sales, delivery, OEMs, andsupport teams. Maintain long-term relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
4. Market Research & Collaboration: Stay updated with the latest IT technologies, market trends, competitor oƯ erings,and pricing. Collaborate with OEM partners (Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe etc.) for campaigns,events, and technical enablement. Submit weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and funnel updates to themanager.Required Skills &
Competencies:
Experience in B2B IT Sales (Software Licensing, Cloud, IT Infra, Security, or relatedsolutions). Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to independently manage client interactions and sales closures. Good understanding of enterprise IT, corporate buying cycles, and vendormanagement. Self-driven, target-oriented, and willing to travel (field visits). Team player with a willingness to learn new technologies and solutions.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Science, or relevant field preferred). MBA / PGDM is an added advantage. 2–6 years of experience in IT Solution Sales / Software Sales / Licensing Sales(preferred)
