As a Business Development Manager at Classic Ford Lincoln of Shelby, you will be instrumental in driving sales success by efficiently managing leads and setting appointments for our sales team. Your primary responsibility will be to engage potential customers, guiding them through the initial stages of their car-buying journey and ensuring a seamless experience. By generating high-quality appointments, you will play a crucial role in assisting our sales team to convert leads into loyal customers. Key Responsibilities - Lead Management: Handle incoming leads from various channels such as phone calls, website inquiries, and social media, responding promptly to secure appointments for the sales team. - Appointment Setting: Schedule appointments for the sales team with qualified leads, focusing on achieving high conversion rates. - Customer Interaction: Build strong rapport with customers through effective communication via phone calls, emails, and texts to understand their preferences and requirements. - Follow-up: Engage in follow-up calls to nurture leads and ensure appointments are kept as scheduled. - CRM Management: Maintain accurate lead data in the dealership's CRM system to track appointments and follow-up activities effectively. - Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and management to optimize lead handling and appointment-setting processes. - Sales Support: Provide necessary assistance to the sales team to facilitate efficient deal closures. Requirements - Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or appointment setting, preferably within the automotive industry. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers. - Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools. - Positive and goal-oriented attitude with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. - Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues. - High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
