Role Overview

The Banking Recruiter – HR is responsible for managing end-to-end hiring for banking positions such as Relationship Officers, Branch Staff, Credit Officers, Operations Executives, and Sales roles. The role requires strong industry understanding, sourcing strategies, and stakeholder coordination to ensure timely and quality hiring.

Key Responsibilities1. Talent Acquisition

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for banking roles across branches and departments.
  • Understand job requirements and create detailed job descriptions for each role.
  • Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, internal databases, and referrals.
  • Screen resumes, conduct telephonic interviews, and shortlist candidates.
  • Schedule interviews with hiring managers and coordinate feedback.

2. Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with Branch Managers, Regional Heads, and Department Leads to understand hiring needs.
  • Provide regular updates on hiring status, candidate pipeline, and challenges.
  • Ensure smooth communication between candidates and stakeholders.

3. Interviewing & Assessment

  • Conduct HR interviews and assess suitability based on competence, culture fit, and banking domain knowledge.
  • Organize assessment tests (if applicable) and validate candidate credentials.

4. Recruitment Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain recruitment trackers, MIS reports, and dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with company hiring policies and banking regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain candidate data and records in ATS/HRMS.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of the banking and financial services ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in sourcing tools (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).
  • Good negotiation skills and ability to manage high-volume hiring.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making capability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet hiring deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR / Business Administration / Related field.
  • Proven experience (1–3 years or more) in recruitment, preferably in banking or BFSI hiring.
  • Knowledge of HR practices and hiring compliance.

Additional Advantage

  • Experience hiring for roles like CASA Sales, Wealth Management, Customer Service, Credit, and Back-office roles.
  • Exposure to mass hiring and campus recruitment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
