The Mumbai Industry Analytics Group (MIAG) at our organization collaborates with Investment Banking teams to support corporate clients in achieving their strategic objectives. Our dedicated bankers specialize in assisting clients with critical strategic decisions and transactions. As a member of our team, your responsibilities will include: - Building a wide range of Investment Banking assignments, such as developing complex financial models within the relevant sector - Conducting industry analysis by researching and providing industry and market overviews - Performing company analysis by evaluating specific company operations, financial data, and key operational performance indicators - Undertaking valuation tasks, including relative valuation through comparable and precedent transaction analysis to formulate a valuation perspective - Taking complete ownership of all assignments for yourself and junior team members - Actively contributing to enhancing industry knowledge and market awareness - Collaborating with the team to deliver value to clients on crucial strategic decisions and transactions To be considered for this role, you should possess the following eligibility criteria and key skills: - Strong interest in Investment Banking, economics, and finance - Proficiency in accounting and corporate finance concepts - Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail - Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple assignments concurrently, including those of junior team members - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work effectively in teams, take responsibility for identifying and pursuing development opportunities, promote constructive dialogue, and share best practices - Proactive approach to generating innovative ideas to enhance existing methodologies - Skilled in decision-making, conflict resolution, and risk management, including maintaining information confidentiality Education requirements for this position include an MBA, CA, Masters in Finance, or Engineering background.
