Bakery Incharge

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Incharge to lead and manage all daily operations of our bakery. The ideal candidate will be a passionate, creative, and organized leader responsible for overseeing production, ensuring high-quality standards, managing staff, controlling inventory, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment. This role requires a strong background in baking, proven leadership abilities, and a commitment to exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production

• Ensure all products are appealingly displayed and merchandised.

2. Team Leadership and Management:

• Train and supervise bakery staffs
• Schedule staff shifts and manage labor costs effectively.
• Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.

3. Inventory and Cost Management:

• Manage inventory of raw materials, ingredients, and finished products, conducting regular stock checks.
• Place orders for supplies and ingredients, negotiating with vendors for best pricing and quality.
• Minimize waste through efficient production planning and inventory control.

4. Hygiene, Safety, and Compliance:

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the production area, storage rooms, and equipment.
• Oversee the proper maintenance and operation of all bakery equipment.

5. Customer Service and Sales:

• Work closely with the front-of-house team to understand customer demand and feedback.
• Manage custom orders and ensure they are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Drive sales by ensuring product availability and attractive presentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Minimum atleast 2 years of experience in a commercial bakery environment.
• Education: B.com
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
• Operational Skills: Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability: Must be willing to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business demands.
