Badminton Coach

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Badminton Coach to train and mentor students in badminton at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. The coach will be responsible for developing students’ technical skills, fitness, discipline, and competitive spirit while ensuring their overall physical and mental well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular badminton training sessions for students across different age groups and skill levels.
• Teach and develop technical skills such as footwork, strokes, serves, smashes, strategies, and game tactics.
• Identify and nurture talented players for inter-school, state, national, and international tournaments.
• Plan structured training schedules balancing skill development, physical fitness, and mental conditioning.
• Ensure students follow proper discipline, sportsmanship, and safety protocols.
• Maintain and oversee sports equipment and court facilities.
• Provide guidance on nutrition, injury prevention, and recovery.
• Collaborate with the school management in organizing sports events, competitions, and talent scouting programs.
• Motivate students to achieve excellence both in sports and academics by instilling team spirit, resilience, and focus.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) – mandatory.
• Master’s degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed) – preferred.
• Professional Certification:
• Certified Badminton Coach from a recognized body (e.g., BAI, BWF, NIS, SAI) – preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum 3–5 years of coaching experience, preferably in schools, academies, or professional clubs.
• Skills:
• Strong technical knowledge of badminton rules, strategies, and coaching techniques.
• Ability to motivate, mentor, and discipline young players.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Commitment to promoting health, fitness, and a positive sporting culture.

Work Environment & Expectations:

• Conduct regular morning/evening practice sessions and additional sessions for competitive players.
• Be available to travel with teams for tournaments and sports events.
• Ensure a safe, encouraging, and high-performance training environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
