Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Backup Engineer with expertise in Linux and backup services to join our team on an immediate contract basis in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have 8-18 years of experience.

Roles and Responsibility

Design, implement, and administer control systems for Linux and backup services.
Manage and maintain Veritas, Veem Backup, and Dell EMC Data domain systems.
Ensure the security and integrity of data and backup systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
Develop and implement disaster recovery plans.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Linux and backup systems.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and backup technologies.
Experience with Veritas, Veem Backup, and Dell EMC Data domain.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with industry-standard protocols and procedures.
