Backend Intern

As a Backend Intern with Python expertise at our robotics software team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust backend services that power our construction robotics platform. From creating efficient data pipelines to architecting AWS-based infrastructure, your contributions will be vital to the success of our projects. **Core Responsibilities:** - Develop robust backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI to handle robot telemetry, control systems, and data processing. - Create efficient data pipelines for processing large volumes of robot sensor data, quality metrics, and operational analytics. - Architect and maintain AWS-based infrastructure for robot fleet management and data storage. - Design and implement database schemas for storing robot operational data, site information, and user management. - Build scalable solutions for real-time data storage and retrieval from robots in the field. - Collaborate with robotics engineers to integrate robot control systems with backend services. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Strong Python development skills with experience in FastAPI or similar frameworks. - Solid understanding of database design with PostgreSQL and SQLite. - Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Elastic Beanstalk). - Knowledge of Docker containerization and deployment. - Understanding of RESTful API design principles. - Experience with data pipeline development and large-scale data processing. - Familiarity with cloud infrastructure management and scalability.
