Backend Engineering Intern (Java & JavaScript)

About the Internship

Are you passionate about backend development and eager to work on real-world systems that power live products? We’re looking for Backend Engineering Interns who are curious, motivated, and excited to learn by doing.

Java and JavaScript (Node.js)

If you don’t know everything yet — that’s okay. We’re here to help you grow.

Note: Stipend will be discussed and negotiated during interviews based on skill level and past experience.

What You’ll Work On

• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and modules using

  Java and JavaScript

• Write clean, maintainable code with mentorship and guidance
• Learn to implement

  unit and integration tests

• Collaborate with engineers, QA, and product teams on feature delivery
• Gain exposure to

  databases (SQL/NoSQL)

  , version control (Git), and API tools like Postman
• Participate in design discussions and peer code reviews
  

What We’re Looking For

• Basic understanding of

  Java or JavaScript

  and backend fundamentals
• Exposure to backend coding via personal projects, hackathons, or coursework
• Willingness to learn tools like

  Git, Postman, Docker

  , and testing frameworks
• Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to take ownership
• Good communication and collaboration skills
  

Bonus (Not Required, But a Plus)

• Experience with

  Spring Boot

  or

  Node.js/Express

• Familiarity with

  REST APIs

  and working with databases
• Interest in

  DevOps

  , CI/CD, or system design concepts
