Job Description

El Codamics is looking for a skilled Backend Developer to architect and build robust server-side applications. If you enjoy working with APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure, join our team

As a Backend Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain APIs, databases, and server-side logic for scalable web applications. You will collaborate with frontend engineers and DevOps to deliver high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop RESTful APIs and microservices
Design and optimize database schemas (SQL/NoSQL)
Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
Integrate third-party services and APIs
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend performance
Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
2+ years experience in backend development
Proficiency in Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, or similar
Experience with databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.)
Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps tools
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
