Role & responsibilities

Backend Engineer


Must Have Skills:

  • Strong

    backend development

    with

    Node.js

    or

    Python (FastAPI preferred)

  • Solid experience in

    API development & integration (RESTful APIs)

  • Knowledge with

    JSON, SQL

  • Knowledge of

    frontend technologies

    – React or Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Experience with

    modular, reusable backend code

  • Familiarity with RDBMS and optionally NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB)
  • Understanding of

    server setup and deployment practices


Good To Have:

  • GenAI integration

    experience using Python or Node.js
  • Exposure to

    Cloud platforms

    – AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Experience with

    Microservices architecture

  • Familiar with tools like

    Postman

    ,

    Swagger

    , or similar for API testing
  • Basic knowledge of

    web server configuration

    (Apache, Nginx, etc.)

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills
  • Ability to own deliverables end-to-end (conception to deployment)
  • Experience in

    client interactions

    , handling blockers/escalations
  • Mentoring capabilities and team collaboration
  • Strong verbal and written communication
