Backend Developer - Python

Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable server-side logic using appropriate backend frameworks and languages. You will ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end, integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, and implement security and data protection solutions. Your role will involve designing and developing APIs, integrating server-side code with front-end components, and ensuring modern security standards are implemented. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize strong proficiency in Python (mandatory), node.js, and JavaScript to work with AWS services and REST APIs - Handle database technologies, including relational (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL - Familiarize yourself with code versioning tools like Git and work collaboratively with front-end developers - Identify and fix bugs in the code, write test suites, and ensure robust and high-performance server-side code - Integrate server-side code with front-end components, design and develop APIs, and implement scalable server-side logic - Have hands-on expertise with Object Relational Mapper (ORM) tools like SQL Alchemy and proficiency in NoSQL and SQL databases - Stay updated with the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices, including autoscaling, serverless backends, and CI/CD - Demonstrate a passion for writing clean, maintainable code and apply performance-related optimizations - Possess familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and OOPS concepts - Manage database scaling, optimization, design, and the latest practices and versions Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 3 years of backend development experience with a strong proficiency in Python - Experience working with node.js, JavaScript, AWS services, and REST APIs - Proficiency in both relational (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL database technologies - Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git and frontend frameworks such as Typescript/React - Knowledge of modern patterns for backend code interactions with front-end systems - Hands-on expertise with ORM tools, NoSQL and SQL databases, and high-throughput data-related architecture and technologies (e.g., Kafka, Spark, Hadoop) - Understanding of performance-related choices and optimizations, database scaling and optimization, and database design and management Additional Details: The company is looking for individuals with a passion for backend development and a strong understanding of performance optimizations.
