Backend Developer Intern

As a Software Engineering Intern at our company, you will be an integral part of our engineering team. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the development of backend services using Java and MongoDB. A strong understanding of Java and MongoDB is essential for this role, with additional exposure to React being a plus as it facilitates collaboration with front-end teams. Your key responsibilities will include building and maintaining backend services using Java, working with MongoDB for effective data management and querying, designing and consuming RESTful APIs, and collaborating with front-end and full-stack developers to deliver integrated features. You will also be expected to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, participate in code reviews and internal discussions, and contribute to testing and debugging efforts. To excel in this role, you should be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A strong foundation in Java programming is required, along with familiarity with MongoDB and an understanding of REST APIs and client-server architecture. Good communication skills and a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment are also important. While not mandatory, experience with Spring Boot or similar Java frameworks and exposure to React.js would be advantageous for this position.
