Backend Developer Intern

As an Architect at the company, you will be responsible for architecting and scaling core backend systems for the product using Node.js. Your role will involve building APIs, optimizing databases, and solving infrastructure challenges to deliver code that impacts thousands of users. You can expect to work with high autonomy, engage in rapid iteration, and experience zero corporate fluff. Key Responsibilities: - Live and breathe Node.js, utilizing Express/NestJS for REST/GraphQL and async workflows - Demonstrate a strong understanding of databases including SQL/NoSQL, query optimization, and indexing - Bonus points for exposure to DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, or Golang - Nice-to-have skills in basic frontend technologies such as React/Next.js for cross-stack collaboration - Take ownership of outcomes by proactively fixing bugs, documenting solutions, and ensuring fast shipment - Embrace a learning mindset by diving into unfamiliar systems and consistently asking "why " In this role, you will: - Build and optimize RESTful/GraphQL APIs - Design database schemas and write efficient queries - Implement authentication, caching, and background job processes - Contribute to infrastructure improvements including CI/CD and cloud services - Collaborate on full-stack features with occasional frontend pairing - Ship code, measure impact, and iterate for continuous improvement Qualifications Required: - Showcase a portfolio of Node.js projects such as APIs, CLI tools, and backend services - Display curiosity about system scalability, e.g., "How would I scale this API to 10K requests/sec " - Demonstrate a hunger to work with DevOps and infrastructure technologies - Be a self-directed learner with active GitHub/side projects - Available to start immediately in Bangalore Please note that the job type for this position is full-time.,
