Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with 2+ years of experience in Python/Django to join our team. This role involves designing and developing scalable web applications, building secure and efficient APIs, and optimizing backend services.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Django REST APIs.
Implement JWT-based authentication and Google OAuth login.
Work with PostgreSQL and manage data using Django ORM.
Design and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services.
Ensure RESTful API best practices, including proper error handling and validation.
Implement role-based access control (RBAC).
Use Celery and Redis for background tasks.
Deploy applications on Heroku/Vercel/AWS.
Write and maintain unit tests for API endpoints.
Use Docker to containerize applications.

Requirements

2+ years of hands-on experience with Python and Django.
Strong experience with Django REST Framework (DRF).
Proficiency in PostgreSQL and database schema design.
Experience with JWT authentication and Google OAuth.
Knowledge of Celery and Redis for background processing.
Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments.
Experience deploying applications to Heroku/Vercel/AWS.
Understanding of security best practices (SQL injection, CSRF, authentication, etc.).
Experience with unit testing using Django’s test framework or pytest.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of GraphQL.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
