API/Backend Developer Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer with 6-7 years of experience in backend development using the .NET stack , who also possesses hands-on experience in DevOps practices and tools . The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems while contributing to infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and cloud deployments. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+ Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability Develop and manage RESTful APIs and work closely with frontend and mobile teams Collaborate with DevOps team to maintain CI/CD pipelines , infrastructure as code , and monitoring/alerting tools Implement secure coding practices and contribute to code reviews Work with SQL Server , NoSQL databases , and caching mechanisms Manage deployments to Azure/AWS or other cloud platforms Identify and fix production issues; support debugging and troubleshooting efforts Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements Required Skills & Experience: 6-7 years of hands-on experience with .NET Core / .NET 6+, C# Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns , and microservices architecture Experience with SQL Server , Entity Framework , and LINQ Familiarity with containerization using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes Solid understanding and practical experience with DevOps tools : CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) Monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) Knowledge of AWS , or other cloud platforms Version control using Git Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and within a team Nice to Have: Exposure to event-driven architecture Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like xUnit/NUnit and TDD Experience in agile/scrum environments
