We are seeking a skilled Backup Specialist to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing backup operations, ensuring the integrity and availability of critical data and systems.

Responsibilities

Manage and execute backup operations for critical data and systems.
Monitor backup jobs to ensure they are completed successfully and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Maintain backup schedules and ensure data is backed up according to company policies.
Perform regular testing of backup and restoration processes to ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with IT teams to implement best practices for data protection and recovery.

Skills and Qualifications

2-10 years of experience in data backup and recovery solutions.
Strong understanding of backup technologies and methodologies.
Familiarity with backup software such as Veeam, Commvault, or similar tools.
Knowledge of cloud backup solutions and on-premise backup systems.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
