Back Office Accountant

Core accounting responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and tax returns.
• Enter financial data into computer systems and maintain digital databases.

Administrative and operational duties

• Manage office administration, including filing and document handling.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement.
• Assist with or process payroll and employee expense reports.
• Handle correspondence and answer internal inquiries.
• Maintain office supply inventory.

Required skills and qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting and financial software like Tally.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,381.67 - ₹20,899.07 per month

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• back office accountant: 1 year (Preferred)
