Job Summary

Back-End Engineer (Python)

Primary Responsibilities

Develop and maintain robust backend systems using
Python (Django)
.
Build and manage
RESTful APIs, FastAPI, and GraphQL endpoints
.
Write unit and integration tests (preferably with
Pytest
) to ensure high code quality.
Work with cloud services (preferably
AWS
) including:

Storage:
S3, EFS
Networking:
VPC, Route53, API Gateway
Databases:
RDS (PostgreSQL/MySQL), DynamoDB

Follow
Git best practices
(GitHub/GitLab workflows).
Collaborate with
onshore and offshore cross-functional teams
.

Secondary / Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with
ETL/Data Pipelines
(AWS Step Functions, Airflow, AWS Glue).
File parsing with formats like
JSON, XML, CSV
.
CI/CD pipeline experience (
GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar
).

Preferred Background

Healthcare domain
experience (highly desirable).
Prior experience in
agile, fast-paced environments
with distributed teams.

Soft Skills

Strong verbal and written communication.
Proactive in clarifying requirements.
Ability to work independently and own deliverables.
Strong collaboration across geographies and time zones.
Passion for
high-quality, maintainable software
.
